CGF FOR HAIR REGENERATION

Concentrated Growth Factors for hair regeneration

Is a 100% autologous regenerative treatment - using highly concentrated growth factors and CD34+ stem cells that activate the growth phase of the hair follicles.

This beneficial concentrate is obtained from the patient's blood after collection and centrifugation.

The therapy stimulates the regenerative processes of the scalp to thicken hair and combat baldness. It is both a regenerative treatment that rebuilds hair and a preventive - protection against further hair loss. The treatment is recommended for both women and men.

Concentrated growth factors (CGF) are found in the blood and are proteins that regulate complex regeneration processes without side effects or allergies.

In the first stage, the doctor collects blood from the patient in a special tube, which, after centrifugation in a so-called cell separator, yields CGF and CD34+ stem cells. CD34+ cells are haematopoietic multipotent stem cells from the peripheral blood from which many types of blood cells arise. They are one of the better-characterised stem cells in the human body. They secrete the growth factors responsible for activating the growth phase in hair follicles.

The use of glass tubes makes obtaining the concentrated preparation safe and without loss of quality, which is important for the effectiveness of the treatment.

The concentrate is applied to the hairy scalp via mesotherapy; no anaesthesia is required.

How are CGFs injected?

The PRP fraction is injected into the scalp. This can be done through Mesotherapy injections - this uses super thin needles that glide through the skin. One injection is placed per diameter of about 2.5cm.  On average, about 6ml of PRP will be injected.

A MesoGun can also be used, this is a device that gives very many injections at the same time, making the treatment quicker to complete.

How many treatments are needed?

You should expect 4-6 treatments at 3-6 week intervals.

Important to know is as long as you have hair follicles, treatment with CGF-PRP will help.

It will thicken and strengthen the hair follicles present and stimulate growth.

If you no longer have follicles and are bald, you can always consider a hair transplant where injecting CGF/PRP is a standard treatment.

When will you see results?

The time it takes to see effects of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) on hair loss varies between individuals.  It is recommended to undergo several sessions, and results can occur gradually.

General guidelines:

Initial period after treatment: In the weeks immediately after CGF/PRP treatment, some people notice an improvement in scalp condition and hair structure. This may manifest as healthier shine and thickness.

Longer term: It usually takes several months before more significant results, such as increased hair growth or reduced hair loss, become noticeable. This is because the hair follicles need time to respond to the stimulation of growth factors.

Repeat treatment: For optimal effect, it is often recommended to undergo multiple PRP sessions, for example at intervals of several weeks to months, depending on the treatment protocol recommended by the doctor.

Individual variation: The rate of response to PRP can vary depending on factors such as genetics, the cause of hair loss, general health and individual responses to treatment.

Maintenance treatments: Once you have achieved great results after a few months, the doctor may recommend periodic PRP treatments as part of a long-term approach to hair preservation.

This may mean repeating treatments annually, semi-annually or at other regular intervals.

Individual response: The response to CGF/ PRP treatments can vary between individuals. Some people experience long-term benefits after an initial series of treatments, while others may find that the effect wears off over time and additional treatments are needed.

Causes of hair loss: If hair loss is caused by hereditary factors, hormonal fluctuations or other long-term conditions, it may be necessary to repeat treatments regularly to maintain benefits.

It is essential to seek advice from an experienced medical professional who specialises in hair loss and PRP treatments. This professional can assess your situation, identify the causes of hair loss and create a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

It is important to have realistic expectations and discuss with an expert what is the most appropriate approach for you based on your individual situation and goals.

What is the difference between CGF/PRP Application and PRP?

PRP is an abbreviation that stands for "Platelet Rich Plasma" in English. The CGF-CD34 treatment method uses an technique to obtain plasma fluid that contains denser and more concentrated growth factor and blood-forming haematopoietic stem cells (CD-34). It is applied in all cases where PRP is used and is even more effective. It is the part where the healing power in the blood is greatest.

Aftercare

On the day of the procedure, do not wash your head or apply styling products to avoid irritating the skin. From the day after treatment, use mild shampoos. Within 1-3 days, the redness and tenderness of the skin, which are a natural consequence of the puncture, will disappear. Skin not covered by hair should be protected with SPF 50+ sunblock on sunny days.

Indications

Therapy with concentrated growth factors is effective for people with excessive hair loss, as well as for fine or thin hair in need of revitalisation and thickening. It is recommended in the treatment of mainly
